The Last Shadow Puppets is a band consisting of Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys, Miles Kane of The Rascals. The cover of Fury’s previous song was released as B-side of the group's first single, "The Age of the Understatement" ( UK # 9). Their first and only album was released on 21 April 2008 and went straight to number one in the UK Albums Chart. The album was nominated for the 2008 Mercury Music Prize, the alternative to the Brit Awards annual music prize. The Mercury Prize has a reputation for being awarded to outside chances rather than the music industry favorites.
