The British rock and roll star(17 April 1940 - 28 January 1983), who equalled The Beatles' record of 24 hits in the 1960s, and spent 332 weeks on the UK charts, without a chart-topping single or album. In 2003 a bronze statue of Fury was unveiled at the National Museum of Liverpool Life.
"Wondrous Place" is a song written by Jeff Lewis and Bill Giant. His release of "Wondrous Place" reached #25 on the UK Singles Chart in late 1960. The original version of "Wondrous Place" was released in the US by Jimmy Jones, but the single failed to chart. The song was covered in 2008 by The Last Shadow Puppets.
